Foreign language banners

Hi guys,

I read it over and over that non-US/UK/CA countries are the place to be because the competition is lower.

That's great but since a large part of this game is writing copy, I'm keen to know how the pros are getting their banners and mainly their copy translated. Is it through outsourced means? If so how can i be sure that the translation is accurate?

Any advice welcome.

Cheers
Nik

onehourtranslations.com is what I use, or you could use Fiverr.

If you want to ensure the accuracy have someone else confirm your translations are accurate.

I think you're overanalyzing it. I've had rushed campaigns before with Google translations and have made money.

Cheers Charles! Yes maybe I am but surely it does matter that it makes sense. If I saw a banner that had broken English I'd probably not click.

Will check out onehourtranslations.com if its good enough for you its good enough for me.

PS your blog about Voluum is awesome and helping me no end.

OneHourTranslation is the option most people use at the moment. Make sure to get your translations proofread, btw - sometimes they can still be pretty dodgy.

I use transey, and order 3 copies of the exact same english angles, from 3 different translators

then i test them ALL, you'd be SHOCKED at how local culture and slang play a BIG role in achieving that high CR %!

it helps to test and test many!
