How to deliver incentive for an app install

Hey all, I am brand new to mobile and have been studying all the content here and I think I am ready to begin.

I would like to start with a mobile incentive offer that I think I have a great incentive for, however I am not sure how to actually deliver the incentive in the most effective way.
The offer is an app install and I can either deliver the incentive as a pdf file, for example via email, or provide a download link somehow.

I would like to know if you have any suggestions on best practice for delivering an incentive for a mobile offer that works well.

My to ideas so far are:

1. Landing page with email field which ads the lead to an AR and then redirects to the offer. The landing page states the incentive will be delivered once the app is installed and opened however its simply set to deliver via email in 1 day perhaps?
2. Mundo seems to have a redirect URL option. Does this mean the user is redirected to another url after a conversion takes place or the app is installed, perhaps I can use this to deliver the incentive if this is actually what this is used for?

I am sure the answer is obvious, but im not sure what type of setup has the best results for incentive offers. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

J.

2. I'd guess that's exactly what it means. Test it out and see; it's probably the easiest way to do what you want to do.

Many advertisers do not accept incentivised traffic (and rightly so, as the quality of these leads are usually very poor). You should make sure that it is allowed in the first place before spending too much time figuring out how to deliver it.

As cmdeal says make sure you check if incentive is OK

but from personal experience I know MANY games + app installs accept incentive offers because they are trying to build up their install base which creates social proof. These are clearly labelled as incentive OK usually.

Incentive driven app/game installs ask the user to install the app and write a review, and for it they get something (it can be $$$) or it can be something cool with mass appeal, a video or an ebook on something fun and entertaining..
