Exoclick approval process
I've been starting on Exoclick and the past couple of days I've been having issues with campaigns being rejected for:
- Landing page not working
- Banners not uploaded properly
It's strange and inconsistent. I have tested the landing page which is fine, and in one of the campaign one of the banners show on my side, but they say it's not showing.
Been back and forth with them through their support, and they just ask me to upload the banners again.
Is there something on my side that I'm not doing correctly?

No I dont think you are doing anything wrong. Exoclick campaign approval process can sometimes be a bit tedious, but once you get everything setup, you should be able to see some good volume, so its worth going thru the hoops.

Can I setup 2 campaigns duplicate campaigns, hoping one of them will get through? I'm not sure if I can have campaigns on pause and get them approved though?

I am having the exact same issue. Out of 20 attempts only 1 has made it through. The issue is with ani gifs only I think. Trying to find some open ear on the support side. I think they images upload find but something screws up the image path on their end. Someone needs to check

Same here with the "landing page not working" rejection. They've most definitely changed a few things internally. They are more strict, I cannot submit things I could even 1 month ago. And you are not allowed to direct link to the google app store for some reason now. For the landing page issue, try (if using CPVlab) switching the campaign to direct link straight to the end-location (skipping your aff redirect link), just long enough to get it approved. Then monitor your campaign approval on exoclick and once its approved, change back your campaign to how it was. I had to do this a few days ago and it got my campaign through. They kept insisting that my landing page was not working even though it was, so I was forced to trick them, basically.

Yes they are very strict now... You'll have to run extremely compliant if you want to run app installs at all. One thing is allowed one day, the next they lost a publisher because of complaints for being too aggressive. I think it's a good thing though.

They dont allow links directly to the app store anymore. You need a landing page inbetween. If you link to the app store it your link will just take them to a blank page.

I'm getting my landing pages rejected like crazy. I don't understand how my antivirus ads are worse than those (4) milfs are looking for sex ads.

Aren't they reading this forum?

I would appreciate a different perspective. Unless Exoclick is going mainstream like Facebook looking for the likes of Toyota or CocaCola to advertise on their platform, they need our money. And they need to be alot more helpful to us to sustain our business, and keep paying them.

Quantum, where you able to speak to a rep on Skype? I know their support system is a bit painful sometimes. They have some new restrictions regarding AV campaigns as far as I discussed with my rep about a week ago: No warning signs of any kind, no implying that there's any risk on the site or for the user, etc.

lol!
I wish they were on this forum. then I can ask why they disregard a frequency cap set when bidding on a placement with zero competition. *shakes fist*

That's not the case. There are big porn brands that spend LARGE budgets with them.

Now Exoclick is saying my LPs have malware. Are they just rolling the dice on these approval responses?

If you're promoting some DDL APK outside of google play like Armor For Android or similar, chances are some Anti-Virus Softwares will flag it as Mal/Spy/Adware leading to Exoclick denying your camps.
Exo in general has become much more strict for app installs... They lost some big publishers because of cloaking and too aggressive creatives. Like (1) New Possible Virus & making popunders pop over. All the stuff is now disapproved including timers, warning-triangles, system messages and all that good stuff... If you spend enough you'll get a private rep and they'll help you find a middleground that works. It seems like everyone and their mom wants to run apps on Exo now and it wouldn't surprise me if they forbid it altogether in a while.

I said it before and I'll say it again. I think this makes no sense. Considering they do adult traffic. Because Porn MUST be real and legit.

I second this. Their biggest advertisers are brands like LiveJasmin ( they buy 80% of the pops ) / PillsGuru etc.
Of course affiliate money is nice but sometimes it's not worth losing publishers for some short term cash.

What? What makes no sense? All banners remotely trying to create doubt in a users mind that they could have a virus or an outdated browsers is pretty scammy... It's a thin line. Scare-advertising combined with system message style designs is not popular at any app or site-owner. It scares the users away, so they lose business. I know for a fact Exo lost one of their biggest publishers due to all the app install campaigns. So it makes sense that they tighten the rules. Exo even banned using windows style system message ads for adult dating if they contain the warning-triangle.

It's all relative. But when you're other ads are penis pills/enlargers, adult dating sites. I don't see how they are any more legit.
I guess I can also see it from your point of view. If I pushed the antivirus apps as "Download this Antivirus App to Meet Horny Sluts" or "Download this App or Die a Virgin" then I guess it would be seen as more relevant to the site?
