Is is normal to not getting any conversion in your test campaigns?

Hi,

I'm a newbie and have only started 2 months ago. At first, my test campaigns got conversions, 1 or 2 in a few days, but now none of them ever converted. Not just one offer, but all of the 4 or 5 offers I tested. They are getting clicks(like nearly 100), and the ctr is ok, but not any conversions. I am direct linking the offers.

More information please

Hi,

Do you have more information? How many views you get? How many clicks? What are the CTRs?

So it's either the offer not performing well, your placement is not targeted well, too little data (?), not enough traffic (bid too low?), etc.

I'm new as well, but from the past month experience, I can tell it's normal.

Others will be able to help once you give more information.

Probably this will get you some more ideas:

Yea, i would suggest revealing as much as possible regarding your campaigns in the beginning by starting a fully transparent thread in the followalong section of the forum

Yep... the lack of data is astounding.

What traffic source? Ad type? Geo? Offer type? Did you run a test conversion? Do you know that the offer does well? Have any info on network average conversion rate, volume etc.?

Without more info you might as well ask the internet "I went outside for 5 minutes today and I didn't see any cyclists. Why not?"

Yep, as other people have said, we need a few more details here

Chances are it's a bad offer or angle, though. 4 or 5 offer / angle combinations isn't as many as you might think - the ratio of successful to unsuccessful angle / offer combos is more like 20:1 or higher when you're first learning a traffic source.

Hi everyone!!

I'm also a newbie and faced the same issue with vothiquynhyen. Before coming across this post, I was also about to ask a similar question. Hope vothiquynhyen dun mind if I post my case here to study along...
I'm not sure if I'm doing correctly on my campaign...hope some experts here can advice/guide...
Currently running a campaign on ALIEXPRESS from NeverBlue with my target urls :Click image for larger version.

I tried target on the offer's competitors websites...however so far there is no conversions yet. I'm doing direct linking and using 50onred (traffic source). Personally, I felt 50onred is quite difficult to get any conversion as they do not allow target on URL variation (e.g. domain.com/main, domain.com/main/page1)....

Appreciate if any of the expert here could advice...what I should do to improve...

What's the offer payout and what does the user need to do for you to get a lead?

Also it would help coming up with a lander to convince your users to sign up.

The offer is basically similar to ebay....the user just need to purchase some items advertise there...then we will get the commission.

Even for a non test campaign, your conversion rates will still be quite low for something like that. In addition, you absolutely will need a long cookie and a high payout for this to even have a chance.

Yep, anything that requires a purchase before conversion is likely to have a pretty low conversion rate, unless the offer that they (the user) are getting is just amazing.
