I've been advertising on exoclick for a long time now, having over 100 campaigns approved all using the same process on my end. But now the ad approval dept. are saying my CPVlab link goes to a blank white page. I asked for the page they are getting stuck on and it's the baseredirect.php page, the page that normally redirects to the offer. The link works for me, but Exoclick is based in Spain and they won't approve my campaign because it apparently does not go anywhere. So I even checked the link using a Spanish proxy, still worked as expected. The support guy waited several minutes for the page to redirect as per my request, and I have no other option than to believe him that the page is not redirecting for him. So have any of you using CPVlab had any issue like this before? I don't even know what to do to try and fix this short of remaking the campaign and trying again with a new link... But I want to believe there is something else causing it, because CPVlab is pretty solid tracking software, and even if it were a PHP bug, it wouldn't be specific to Spain only... Any ideas or suggestions how I could go about trouble shooting this, or what would you do?
How are you redirecting? I.e. 302, meta, etc.
Have you tested it yourself in different browsers? Different device/PC?
Meta refresh, yea I've tested it in multiple countries, all major browsers, mobile, etc. And another traffic network (not based in Spain) just approved a campaign with the very link Exoclick says is broken. I guess i'll re-make the campaign in CPVlab and try again, seems like the only option. Or I suppose I could try redirect loop instead of double meta refresh, first.
Why use a meta refresh? Use a 302 redirect and avoid the potential issues.
Yea good point, I guess I set up my first campaign ever in CPVlab using meta refresh (for no good reason), and have been duplicating ever since. Anyways, I used a redirect instead and also replaced my aff link in CPVlab (just to remove 1 more potential problem) with the end-location (offer page) and they approved the campaign finally. I changed 2 variables, so not sure which one was the issue, but either way, it is resolved now, thanks
