How to deal with Duplicate clicks from traffic source

I am working with CPC traffic source. When I check the ip adress of clicks I find more 2700 clicks from same ip, here is screenshot

I am getting around 100 clicks daily from the same one ip.

As it is CPC platform, I have paid $127 for clicks from same IP, and it has 0 clicks on LP, is this kind of bot traffic?

Here is screenshot from another campaign, here I got 4600 clicks from single ip, which is similar to the above one but not the same ip (different c class)

Would you suggest me to ask refund from traffic source for duplicate clicks?

Hmm - I would definitely talk to Decisive about this, soon, and loudly. They will be (or should be) as interested as you are in getting to the bottom of this.

Did you track the Decisive bidhashes or placements for these clicks? If so you should easily be able to tell if a single app or site is sending bad traffic.

I'd also recommend asking for a refund for the dubious traffic, yep.

Thank you. It is adult traffic not decisive, So I am not able to track bidhashes or placements or something similar to that. I would surely talk with account manager about it.

Ah, my bad. Definitely talk to your account manager - given you can show it's all from the same IP they shouldn't give you any problems.

Which traffic source is it? Can't you block zone ID? Besides, do you have to pay for duplicated clicks within 24/48 hours period?

We have experienced this before with advertisers, your traffic source should be able to block the IPs no problem to avoid this happening. I have 8 IPs blocked in my system that were causing some headaches to members of this forum.

If said adult source is Traffic Factory you will only be paying for one click per IP address per 24 hours as andrius has suggested.

Voluum won't keep up with this and you can't adjust costings with it yet- but you should be running your overall P/L figures between traffic source costs and tracker revenue to calculate the real story.

If it's another CPC source that doesn't have an IP quota definitely speak to them. They might be able to block / refund you on those clicks if your data tallies with theirs.

Yes if you actually paid for all those clicks that had 0 CTR and were from a single IP, hit the traffic source up and ask for a refund.

I can not block zone id. Yes I have to pay for every click, even its duplicate click.

I have talked with them and blocked the ips. But I haven't asked for refund, because I have good relationship with them and don't want to spoil it.

Given the fact they can throw the same IP at you a gazillion times and make you pay for it on each occasion without fear of reprisal I'm sure they think it's a fantastic relationship too!

You won't spoil the relationship by asking.

It's in their best interest to deliver clean traffic. Badger away!
