F5 - Unique link brings me to english page when accessed with VPN

I just got Overplay and was checking the offer page. This is an offer from F5 where I am targeting Mexico. When I start up the VPN and select Mexico and then click on my unique affiliate link it brings me to the google play store but it is still in english. The url has =en appended at the end. Does this mean there is something wrong with the unique link?

I checked a different offer that is brazil only and when I checked with a brazil VPN it brought me to the google play store and it was in portuguese.

Thanks

Basically I want to make sure I have everything setup right. I'm trying to see what the user sees when they click my banner and I'm not sure the proper way to do this.

check your VPN...

some VPN are using virtual location...

and may still be classified as US IP by sites/network..

while your VPN is on... try going to IPLOCATION.NET

and see if all tells your new location as it says in your VPN it should be...

also.. try talking directly to your VPN provider... they should be able to help you out...

also.. are you sure that your offer has a MEXICO landing page?

Some offer target multiple different country but only offers ENGLISH landing pages...

Is it a mobile offer? If so, make sure you are viewing the page from a mobile user agent.

superboi - When I go to that site with the VPN on it says I'm in Mexico. I didn't realize it was a possibility that there might not be a specific landing page for Mexico, although it is the google store so I thought there would be

Mr. Green - Yes it is a mobile offer. What is an example of a mobile user agent? It is android only and I don't have an android phone.

Use Google Chrome Developer Tools and emulate an Android phone, like the Nexus 4. Do that at the same time as you're using your VPN and you should get an accurate read on what a phone user will see.

Hi Carumen, I downloaded chrome canary so I could use the developer tools. I am emulating a nexus phone and with my VPN set to mexico I open the page and it still shows in english. Is there anything I need to change? I noticed the html language is set to english on the page, but not sure what to do to change that.

Edit: After using firefox and changing the preffered langauge to spanish I was able to get the page to load in spanish with my VPN turned on. When I changed this setting in Chrome, all the menus in chrome were in spanish but pages would continue to load in english. I was also unable to get the emulation to load in spanish. I'm not sure why.

Edit2: Figured it out, just needed to drag the languages in the language and input settings in the order of preference.
