I got an initial email from Caur Men dated 7/2 6:21 pm. He sent me an email awith some starter things to go over and I have gone through all that stuff. I want to spend a few min. outlining what I am doing so you guys can have a better understanding of were I am in the learning process.
We got an offer from ClickBank and am using that as the offer that we are going to market. It is a womens weight loss product called Venus Factor Diet. I watched the video and as far as I can tell it looks pretty good, even had my girlfriend look at it and she liked it. For our Marketing company we are using Media Traffic Agency, I gave them a call and i guess it is a pretty good place to start. Some companies requre a $1,000 to start and some also requre references, like Traffic Vance. I will re-visit this in the very near future. We have $500 in the account to start and will add more if needed. We do NOT have a landing page and I spent some time deciding for or agenst and have decided that we need one for sure for many reasons that I will not go into here.
We started off by getting about 125 AdWords and about 6,000 URL's from your web site which worked very well by the way. I had a few questions that I wanted to ask you guys to see what your thoughts were on a few things.
1.) We did not shorten the URL's to the base ".com" component we just stuck the whole thing in?? Is that the best way to do this I am note sure.
2.) We do not have a landing page, I have been looking at Pagewiz.com do you folks have any suggestions about a better company that ca help with my Landing page?
3.) Other companies that do the same thing as Media Trafic Agancy. I am looking for companies that you guys feel do a better job? I dont know if MTA is good or bad just want some feed back.
4.) Besides that Landing page, and since this is very new to me, am I missing any huge hole's in the boat. I can handle the leaks just dont want to make sure this boat does not go to the bottom of the bay 3 feet from the dock.
5.) I have found BlinkBox and JVzoo and coments on these other companies?

First question: do you KNOW that the Clickbank product you've chosen converts on this traffic source?
I'd almost always recommend that people start with a much lower-payout offer: see http://stmforum.com/forum/showthread...ghlight=payout . Large-payout offers like Clickbank require a much higher budget to begin testing: you're better off starting with small payouts to learn and not spend too much money initially.
2) You can create a landing page in-house or have a wide variety of other people create it for you. (There are a couple of good freelancers who post on the Buy/Sell section). Landing pages, particularly pre-landers for a Clickbank offer, do not have to be super-complicated.
3) I don't know much about MTA. In general, these days I'd recommend steering clear of PPV - you can make it work, but it's a shrinking market and pretty fiercely competitive.
4) The main thing to be aware of is the payout issue, as I mentioned above. For an untested offer on a new traffic source, I'd budget 4x the payout just to see if it'll work at all with each angle, and more like 10x to 20x the payout to thoroughly test a single angle. Bear in mind you will almost certainly (unless you get very lucky) have to test multiple angles or offers to get a profitable campaign, and you can see how the spend mounts up.

We are using this offer from Click Bank primarily because Click is telling us that this is there most popular product in this catagory and by far there best seller so that was why we went with it...... Maybe a bit thin but that is all that we have.
By payout offer I am guessing that that is what people have to pay for the offer or how much it costs them. Cost of the product is like $49.00 our commission is like $37.50
In regards to your comments on the payout question it is actually pretty funny because I was thinking the same thing myself. So my next question is where do we go to find offers that are in this catagory of Health and fintness and weight loss for around $1 to $5? The landing page is something that we will need to have done no dout about it. Any chance you could send me a link on where to find that stuff??
Your comments on PPV being a shrinking market is dully noted and I have been thinking that PPV is not the best way to go, but we would very much like to stay in the Health Fitness Weight Loss Catagory. Is that still a good catagory to work? I like the idea about sticking to one catagory and getting very good at it and then branching out.
So questions;
1.) Places to find Health Wellness offers with a lower payout??
2.) Other companies like Media Traffic Agency that can provide us with the Marketing that we need?? ClickBox?? or JVZoo?? do you have others you would suggest that we look at??
3.) I am hearing alot on your sight about Mobile?? Were do I start looking at this and where can I learn more about it??
4.) We are goig down this ADdWord/URL path do you feel that this may not be the best avenue to persue in the future??
Question # 1 I think is the most importan at this point and we can go from there.

I will take your advise and start off with a lower payout offer. The question is do you have any sources that you suggest that I can go to that have lower cost payouts that are in the Health & Wellness Weight Loss field?? I have not had much luck finding companies out there that have weight Loss products at all. For that matter I would be interested any finding anybody that has offers at all.
Any help you guys can provide would be greatly appriciated in this matter.
