All I can find are very basic tutorials which are mainly just explaining the interface lol.

Does it accept affiliate traffic and offers? In general ain't it like with adwords?

Very few people are exploiting YouTube for anything affiliate-related, at least of the people I've discussed the topic with.
I've used it for my own products, with mixed success, but not at major scale, and it's on my list to test out for affiliate stuff - but just because of the increased time commitment for making ads (even if you've been working with video for nearly 2 decades, as I have) it's not yet gotten to the top of the list!
What was their problem with it / why are affiliates not using youtube?
