What's the general consensus on these? Are they a big "no-no" or is it more of an ok thing as long as you make it compliant?
More specifically tailored to the dieting and health niches.
I love advertorials and Facebook! Heres one i optimized earlier today thats now making me an additiona xxx/day. Its lookalike targeting though so not sure i can scale it to xxxx/day. I know fools who are doing xx,xxx/day on facebook with advertorials though.

Dieting and health can be tricky verticals to run on Facebook no matter your lander.
Advertorials are not inherently bad but obviously people have a tendency to do naughty things with them and or use a lot of fake elements that certain institutions don't like.
If you're fully compliant then just go for it.
I'm having conversion issues. Doing $xxx per day with a ctr of 1.6%. When I try an advertorial I can get %3 ctr but it's not profitable. I'm going to try some different advertorial angles, .08c cpc's would give me that 4th figure per day.
BTW, scaled it to x,xxx/day lol
Same here. When your reach gets to 1.2m let us know if CTR or CVR drops. Mine did.
