How do you "bookmark" useful/important posts?

Hi all,
I've been subscribing to threads which I consider important/useful but the thing is that usually there's only 1 or 2 posts in the whole thread that I'm really interested...

I made a suggestion to the moderators that they enable a feature in vBulletin so that users can see which posts they have thanked...unfortunately according to my research that feature doesn't exist for now

so how do you guys bookmark posts that you think are useful?

thanks!

I use a Firefox plugin called Scrapbook and save the pages that are useful.
You can then add highlights and notes to the page.

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/fir...don/scrapbook/

My notes are basically all around the place, on paper, on Workflowy, on .txt files, on Google Docs and Evernote.
Evernote is the 2nd best choice after Scrapbook IMO, you can just copy that specific post and paste it in Evernote and all the formatting is intact.

thanks and I asked that question so that my notes won't be "all over the place"...LOL

I do have an Evernote account but not sure if I can copy and paste images as well...sometimes attached images are important as well...I've used scrapebook as well, but then again I have to put all the notes "in the cloud" somewhere so that I can access them from anywhere...

any other good approaches?

Yes, images get copied as well into Evernote.
You can access your notes from their site as well.

OR

Use Dropbox/Sugarsync to automatically upload your Scrapbook files into the cloud.

The "Clip to Evernote" browser extension is fantastic. You can quickly clip a section or entire page (with images), add tags, write notes, and select which notebook you want to send the clip to. I highly recommend it.

@inversion:
thanks for that but I tried several times to clip a section of a webpage with images without success. Evernote allows one to clip the entire page but I just couldn't find any button there which allows me to clip one section...

and the clipped page is not in its original format...
