My first campaign... I feel violated and elated.
Kia Ora Koutou! (Hi Everyone)
Feel kinda weird putting this stuff up for all to see... But, I suppose that's the point.
So, I lost my campaign virginity last night... You absolutely learn the most by doing eh?
What a mix of fear and excitement, its beautiful. Ha.
Anyways, here we go:
Network: F5Media - Sweepstakes offer... I think
Traffic Source: Decisive
Creatives: Three 320x50 banners, all the same angle.
Objectives: Learn shit, quickly if possible.
Try not to lose too much money.
Outcome:
This is what is showing on decisive

This whats showing on my F5 account

Learnings so far:
- Make sure you have the country set correctly, It wasn't until banner 1 and 2 were up to $5 & 300 clicks and banner 3 was sitting around $2 and 25 clicks (only about 20secs in) I realised something wasn't right. Turns out if you don't select the target country, it goes to the whole world HAHA. I feel like such a newbie. I know I am, but come on.
- Make sure if you're using smart CPM on decisive that the CPA goal is what the payout is not what you're willing to bid. Damn. -_-'
- Will need to revisit banner most likely. Tried a yes and no button on the same banner, my thinking was people may change their mind once they get there. On further ponderisation (that's a real word in my house) I'm thinking all its doing is messing with my stats, in saying that I don't really have anything to compare it with, so I wouldn't actually know would I.
- You can get conversions, even if you know f#$k all... That's directed at myself.
So... be gentle
Any feed back would be welcome.
Oh and I'm about as tech savvy as a spoon, so if my images don't come up, totally my tech skills shining through.

Congrats on your first campaign - I'm in the same boat, but I've already learned so much from my first f*ck-ups that it's well worth it.
Now let's keep going - I think everyone around here will tell you "you're not losing Money, you're paying for data!"
Cheers to NZ!

Haha. Very funny mistake.
Anyway, have a look at Caurmens appetizer guide. That will help you get started.

Great start - so far your EPC is similar to your average CPC, but hard to say if this will remain true when the global data disappears!
Mistakes teach us a lot in AM. You will make them, probably repeatedly - be sure to write down stuff that you screw up and write out some sort of workflow that stops it from happening again.
It's a great idea to write out a checklist of things to do when rolling out a campaign with Decisive so that you don't make mistakes - and always obey and update your checklist!

Cheers Zeno,
CPC sitting at 0.023 (average across all three banners) and EPC currently 0.04.

Why does Decisive say I have XX clicks and my network say X? Anyone...

I take it you're direct linking to your affiliate link?
Presuming you now have the campaign targeting set to only target the country applicable to the offer, check your click report at F5 media and tick the box that shows duplicate clicks.
Mobile carriers aggregate users to specific IPs so you get a lot of dupes, though these don't prevent conversions.
Make sure you take into account time zone variations between Decisive and what you have set at F5 - this catches a lot of people.
After checking all that, you will still have some click loss. Let us know how that is - 50 clicks from Decisive might become 40 for example.

You will always see click loss with mobile. 15-20% is pretty standard.
Have you fixed your tracking issues? Your F5 link should look like this http://f5mtrack.com/?a=000000&c=00000&s2={{{bidhash}}}. Then you should have your Decisive pixel place on F5 which should look like this http://win.crwd.io/convert/#S2#
Kia Kaha bro.

OK, that clears the brain fog a little bit. Thanks
