Teespring Tip of The Day #1!

Have you ever run into this error when you tried to upload one of your design masterpieces?

"Looks like you tried to upload an image with more than 10 colors or shades of gray. Unfortunately, because of the way screen printing works, we aren't able to print images with over 10 colors."

That ain't no fracking problemo mi amigo!

In Photoshop go to "save for web" > select "gif" > change "colors" to "10".

Great design!

You are having WAY too much fun with the World Cup and this Teespring thing.

Fun fact: You Have A Higher Chance Of Being Bitten By Uruguay’s Luis Suarez Than By A Shark

nice dude... I didn't even think of doing that..
That gif creates a cool effect.

I mainly do vector track in adobe.

Good advice.
However, I'd recommend not getting over 2-3 colors IF POSSIBLE to make more profit per shirt.

Of course, ROI is your final target, so no matter how many colors or price you're using, as long as you're getting positive ROI

Haha amazing design, super creative!
I wonder how you will target this kind of T on FB since this shirt has a very broad appeal.

Ha ha that image is everywhere this week so I don't think Mr Green can claim credit for its concept?

Or can he?!!

How's it selling??

Haha no the concept of suarez jaws is not original. The image above was not one of my finished t-shirt designs. There is a reason I wanted to use the jaws concept, only Zeno knows why . I will make a big World Cup Teespring blog post after the World Cup is over.

The campaign preformed like crap in terms of sales, but it was a success in terms of the "trick" I was testing.

Has it been profitable so far?

Flying Dutchman = win.
Pirlo = win (until ads got disapproved)
Suarez Jaws = fail (but very interesting results)

I've been working/brainstorming hard trying to find new ideas, it's forced me to have to watch a lot of the football games. It's been really tough.

Tonight Netherlands vs Mexico. I'm going to have to drag myself outside and watch it at Museumplein. Hopefully something outrageous happens.

This is how things got last world cup at Mueseumplein.

Bet there was some atmosphere for end of that match at Museumplein!

Next tee... "Keep calm and dive like Robben (under minimal but definite contact)

Why did the Pirlo ads get disapproved Mr Green?

It must have been an amazing experience.

I remember Seoul in 2002 ... that was just awe-insipring.

Congrats to Holland! See you soon orange people! (Belgium here)

Haha. We're out

But you can now design the "Keep calm and be a diving dutchman" shirt

Question: are you selling teespring shirts to NL and IT? No problems with the shipping costs?

^^ Haha I found that "negative" angles don't sell well, nope just ran some quick tests in the US.

Sell those to the Mexicans living in the US, LOL...
Actually... I think it's a good idea now that I think of it.

Anyway, if your tests have been positive, I'm quite impressed about US people buying shirts about FIFA and other countries. Guess there's something for everyone.
