Ways to Increase CVR while Direct Linking?

I've been trying to brainstorm ways to increases CVR while direct linking, it appears like the only factors available to optimize:
1. Banners
2. Tracker
3. Different networks for offer

I've been getting almost breakeven ROIs and I wanted to know if there's any other way to increase CVR.

The offer's payout is $0.40. I've tested 5-6 lander variations already and they all failed to perform half as well as direct linking.

I'm getting around 1.7-2% CVR meanwhile the network average is around 20%+. Just wondering if anyone can offer some tips or advice... whether I should continue to focus the bulk of my time on banners or shift more attention to the landing pages.

My banner CTRs are doing quite well, getting around 2.3%+ average for WS/MS (I'm not running app traffic) with my top performer atm being around 3.8% CTR. So far, I've definitely been focusing more on the banners to try and lower the CPCs.

The same for me. I get a ctr 1.7 to 2% and direct linking always perform better than lp-s.

One more you didn't mention: different traffic sources.

It's not at all unheard-of for a low-payout offer to convert better with direct linking. If you're almost at breakeven it would definitely be worth testing the same campaign on a few other mobile traffic sources - here's a shortlist of ones that STM mods have made profitable in the past:

Thanks Caurmen!

I've definitely been looking at more traffic sources, but I noticed that most work on CPC with a minimum bid of $0.02 or CPM with a minimum of $0.50, my current CPC is around $0.01 and my CPM is around $0.30 ATM... I assume that I should still test out the other sources despite having a $0.20 higher CPM requirement?

What sources have you tried? A minimum $0.50 doesn't sound right - there are far too many countries where mobile CPMs are well below this.

I've spoken to Millenial Media, inMobi, Mobfox, and Adiquity so far.

Some offers both CPC/CPM. Even then, the minimum I found from the trying to create a campaign on each site is $0.02 per click and the minimum CPM is $0.50.

It's weird because I looked at the planner for Mobfox and their CPM floor for my country is around $0.10 so I sent them an email yesterday asking how their bidding works since their minimum is $0.50 and I have yet to receive a response.

Sometimes you have to ask to get minimum bid limits dropped on your account.

However, there are many providers outside of those 4, and the first is a premium network so will be more expensive to begin with.

Jumptap, Decisive, Mojiva, BuzzCity, LeanMarket, etc.
