Best Adserver for Direct Buys?
Been playing with direct buys lately and I've been doing decently, but I realized an adserver could make things a lot easier.
One in particular I'm thinking of using is sitescout, but is there anything else out there that I should consider that may be better for any reasons?
Thanks

Doubleclick is free up to a certain amount of impressions IIRC

One specific feature I'm looking for is the "container ads" that sitescout offers. Does anyone else do that? They seem to be the only ones advertising it at least.
I just got off the phone with them though and they charge $0.08CPM to start (min $500), and $0.04CPM at 50M impressions / month, so $2k / month. I'd be 100M+ easily, so things get kind of expensive even with some further volume discounts...if theres nothing else I'll probably just have to pay for it though.

Wanted to bump this as I found out they have bandwidth fees on top of the the CPM. Are there any alternatives with the "container ad" text ad feature, geared towards advertisers (for tracking purposes)?
Or, is anyone here using sitescout and have good experiences at least? If I'm paying $3-5k a month just for an adserver I want to make sure its at least worth the money.

Hey guys, any of you have tried this one: http://www.revive-adserver.com/ ?
I saw Finch recommended that one in another thread.
Edit: I was recommended EPOM also, will take a look at both.

pretty much similar to OPENX... except open source...
and the reason why OPENX stopped having free version of their ad server was due to hack...
and if you start serving millions of impressions to your ad server... you will be targeted by hackers... they will see you as a free highway to spread their malwares...

We've been using it for the last few years and have been happy with it.
The contract is month-to-month so you can just cancel it if it doesn't meet your needs.

Look into AdShuffle. Their charges are on a CPM basis.

I actually went for SiteScout if anyone cares. The reason I didn't go for one of the free ones like revive is because I know OpenX had issues with people hacking them, and revive is the same thing as OpenX afaik. Plus I actually don't believe they could serve the type of ads I want without modifications.
SiteScout is pretty legit though. Easy to use and pretty good support plus it seems like they're willing to work on development for little things I'd like them to change specifically for me.

IO got revive all up and running, currently playing around with the interface and I am close to running it live but I've been having the same thought though...
how much is SiteScout?

Minimum $500 / month at $0.08 CPM, and it goes down as you run volume. At 50M impressions you'd be paying half that at 0.04CPM for example.
There are also bandwidth costs, but its fairly small unless you're running all flash banners.
