I created an new account with:
New name
new address
VPN
New Browser
Virtual Credit Card (from EntroPay)
But Facebook says I can't use the credit card because they can't validate my billing address.
It sucks because I used a virtual credit card with my last account (although I first got it live and used it 2 years ago).
I'm guessing they now know which credit cards are virtual now?
This just got a lot harder.
Check your virtual credit card and see if you can go online to enter some billimg info for the card somewhere to validate it.
Yeah I did, they said I can input any address - but some merchants choose to manually verify the billing address (FB). And when they do - the only way to use them is by using the same billing address.
you can't use vcc on fb now
Couple things you could do.
1. Get a prepaid card at the store, I use green dots, they allow you to register an address. Some others might work too, I haven't tested all.
2. Some banks offer vccs, look into that with your bank.
Basically you just need a card that they can verify the zip code with. But it has to match.
Something I am trying right now, it works from what a mate told me is visit www.vccorder.com
Purchase a paypal VCC and this will allow you to verify your paypal account, make sure you choose US account. Also if the paypal requires the second verification which is a bank account the site also sells VBA's (virtual bank accounts)
You will get a fully verified paypal account, with whatever name and address you put into it.
Give it a go
How did you guys get on using the method above?
Damn you guys are making it difficult. All you need is a new CC#. I've done this at least three times now. Call your bank, get a second one issued or tell them you lost it so you can get a new number issued. Or get a new CC account.
Yeah i did the same as Riley and managed to make another account. but i just got the, "facebook has detected suspicious payment activity" message. so who knows if theyll re-enable it. so far the new account should be in pretty decent standings it just got a payout increase.
@tonic: How long did it take you to get that message? Same day? Or when it was time to charge the account for the first time?
Actually they re-enabled it. I think it was because my vpn's ip wasn't in the same location as my billing address. In which you just tell them you've been on vacation or whatever and explain what kinda campaigns you've been running. Well thats what worked for me anyway.
