I decided to break into this niche and lets see if I can't crack it! Heres the meat of the post:

(Only choose one url since this one has worked in the past for other dating campaigns)

LPs: I will have 2 LPs rotate in the beginning and will post stats when I get them

Here comes the first day of stats!

LP 1 Stats:
Views: 468
Clicks: 83
CTR: 17.74%
Leads: 7
CVR: 1.5

LP 2 Stats:
Views: 334
Clicks: 64
CTR: 19%
Leads: 6
CVR: 1.8%

As of right now I am letting LP 2 run for the rest of the day and from this small test we can see that using the same colors on the LP increased conversions.

Well yesterday things started to fall off heres the stats:

LP 2 Stats:
Views: 575
Clicks: 68
CTR: 11%
Leads: 6
CVR: 1%
Spent: 17.33
Revenue: 27

Dating varies a lot depending on time of the day and day of the week.

So you should send traffic for a week to have some data.

Other than that , I would animate the button , make the online users number in red and write Males join free for a limited time.

Or if you want to split test , write "Next (4) males from [city] join FREE".

bbrock since this is all an image, how would I add the geoip? Would it do it right above the image?

I think it would be best to slice it and use text instead of using only 1 image.

Load time will be faster too.

So today it seems that I went form 11% conversion rate to 5% do you guys think its because of the day or what?

Nice lander, I ran something similar and your CTR is great, just keep tweaking. Depending on the competing bids on speeddate.com you should be able to profit. I know in TV their around
7 cents for first pos. Not sure what they are these days in LI.... find targets under 4 cents per view and you got a winner I am sure of it.

My bad - what does your CVR % stand for ? To me it is conv rate , however it seems that you are taking leads/views .

I was wondering... the landers pretty much targets male users... Do you do anything to minimize the number of times it's shown to females?

There was a messup with my LI account yesterday so thats why everything was so low
Right now I am working on trying to scale this campaign up.

How is your 3rd LP doing? I have a feeling it can use some more cleavage. And i would definitely add some scarcity to the lander by using what besmir said

LP 3 got dropped, and testing in a new LP with new text so far the lp CTR is down but conversions are up.

Well looks like the 2 profitable targets have died. Gotta find a way to get them back up and running. One of the bidders on speeddate have dropped out so now I am getting more traffic.

Good work.. I did this in the past made a few only to be told the lead quality was bad & I got cut off.. The volume was not so great either anyhow u have the right idea dont give up..

Just saw it being popped on dating sites they used the same template and image and changed the headline. Im cool with it, just kinda wish they would post stats cause I want to know how they did since mine died out very quickly.

Using hotbar I finally got it working to see popups.

So does anyone else have suggestions on what to do here? Should I continue to try and optimize the LPs?

Jroes57 : I took your campaign and made up similar landers / did the same type of attack. Tried some G rated landing pages, and then tried some Xish rated langing pages. Neither of them did either well if you would like I can post stats. I tried on mate1 instead of speeddate and I also used leadimpact. Now I know this LP isn't exactly by the terms of service which is why I ran it on one of the networks I don't really mind having an account on, and it was more for my learning purposes rather than actually banking. There was sound and that timer when it got down to 0 it redirected to an email submit which actually had 3 conversions on 10ish redirects, weird.

Yeah I realized Mate1 probably wasn't the best of choices, I also tried in the UK instead of US for this one, no idea why just like to push campaigns out as fast as possible and see where they take me - I'm still learning, send me a PM if you want to go at this together.

Anyways, I only tried 2 landing pages and I only ran about 500 impressions to this campaign and then had to pause because I wanted to work on something else and put this on the back burner. The CTR was 16.67% which gave me only 2 conversions (one on each LP). I am going to start this back up targeting something other than Mate1, when I do it I'll make sure to post a follow along.
