Anyone having "Real" success on RevContent?
Seems like CB's internal media buys are getting all the love and if you run your own on there you get hardly nothing but clicks at to high a price.

Its a pretty good traffic source, They did change their platform recently, some time ago you were able to see the ad copies of the top 3 bidders, but that is gone now. They do have quite a bit of granular targeting options, down to the site level, so that certainly helps. Most guys who are are doing well there tend to be running Advertorial style landing pages, pushing rebill offers like Muscle, Teeth Whitening, Skin Care exc. WRW offers alot of spy data on these types of Hybrid networks.

They said you can spend 3-4k/day there in US/CA but they don't have much intl.

I've ran a decent amount there over the past couple of years but not for a while. They recently switched their advertising format from container style display banners to the popular "content recommendation" type such as Taboola etc.

Unfortunately when they did this they killed most of their international traffic so as the above poster mentioned, you're pretty much left with some very competitive US-only placements (some of them previously found on Pulse360 such as Fox News etc). They used to have some quite decent international inventory in countries like Brazil that's now sadly gone.

There's definitely some decent US and a little CA/UK there still but expect a lot of competition and it's definitely more suited to big ticket offers like diet, skin, muscle etc due as you'll need very high CPC prices to be competitive.

You are also in some cases competing against offer owners themselves running internal media buys on revcontent.
These guys only care about volume and can afford to run placements that drive sales in the 30-40$/CPA range.

I tried it for 100 USD, when gave CPC .25 not much traffic then made it .50 got some sale but overall I lost money. Influx 100 USD and got 50 USD back, so negative ROI. problem is CPC range they show which is dynamic, I saw CPC range .02 to 45 USD. I was shocked to see all websites have having high range CPC (in 2 digits), I really do not know how people running ads and making profit.

Thanks

Majority of RevContent offers are Health (Beauty/Weight loss/Muscle) The trick is to find the profitable placements.
