Moderator, Super Moderator, Administrator, Senior Member, Guest: WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?

Hi

I see that some people have various titles next to their names? So far I have seen

Moderator, Super Moderator, Administrator, Senior Member, Guest

Can someone explain to me what they mean? Is their any qualifications required for these titles? For example, should I assume that Senior Members and Super Moderators are experts?

Hi Humbleaid,

Moderator, Super Moderator and Administrator are all 'official' titles - I think the Admins are mainly the people who founded the forum. There are quite a few of theses titles so don't consider them too much.

Caurmen and I are the primarily active mods.

Mr Green, Stackman and BBrock32 are the founding STM crew.

Other mods will drop in with nuggets of info but some are some are more/less active these days (everyone has their own thing going on!)

Senior member is just based on age/post count, it doesn't say anything about authority on subjects. You will find out who knows what quickly by just reading posts.

Guest = no longer active, or banned, or in some cases, something funky going on with Amember (there are some people who should be members but are mis-titled guests).

Anyone banned should be listed as "banned" - there are very few of them. Otherwise, "guest" means "no longer active", or in some cases "the database is being weird, sorry about that"

Moderators are people with expertise in affiliate marketing who work to help everyone else on STM - that includes Moderators, Super Moderators, and Admins.

As Zeno mentions, our honoured founders are Mr Green, Stackman, and BBrock32. They're amongst the most experienced and successful affiliates in the world.

Many of our members are also very, very successful and experienced affiliates, regardless of title. You can always check the "most thanked" lists to get a quick idea of who's who.
