Mobile Opera Browser

Hi fellas, I was recently running a campaign and I saw my most profitable traffic was coming from the browser Opera. When I went and looked at device in Voluum it said the most profitable device was desktop. The most profitable operating system was listed as Windows. I am only targeting Mobile and Androis OS with my campaign. Can someone clue me into this?

Here are some screenshots.

It could be a mistake in Voluum recognizing the Opera traffic as desktop instead of Opera-mobile
or it could be the opposite problems coming from the traffic source; them sending you desktop traffic (if it's a network that has mobile/web traffic)

What kind of offer is it?

Stackman, thanks for the response. It's an apk app install. On top of that I am using the auto payout option in the postback pixel. So it means the APK is converting on that Opera segment of traffic, since the pixel is firing?

If it was a Voluum issue I think I would be seeing this weird phenomenon on other traffic sources? If it was really desktop traffic coming from the traffic source then I don't think the apk would be getting installed and my pixel firing?

You've covered all my initial thoughts lol... hmmm!

I'm pretty bamboozled tbh

1. Confirm conversions are over at the network.

2. Confirm when the postback URL fires - on APK download or app install. I presume that's what you're using to track conversions.

3. Look at the ISPs in Voluum - if you're targeting carriers then the Desktop traffic shouldn't have them as an ISP... so if you do see the 'Desktop' traffic having cell carrier ISPs, chances are its Voluum that is incorrect.

4. Ask your AM if they can also look at your stats to see if anything looks fishy.
