Hi everyone,
I just joined as a member so I'm very excited to work with everyone and embrace the community on here.
I wanted to see if anyone has had any successful affiliate campaigns that they've been running lately on social media that have been working super well. I own some very active and successful Twitter accounts that have done pretty well with some CPA offers for things like Ketone Diet pills and such. I've had days where I was able to clear a couple thousand in a day. However, this campaigns are getting overused on Twitter and much less effective these days so I wanted to see if anyone was having any luck with anything else? Thanks in advance for your help.
I will add in as well that most of my followers are females with the the typical age normally being anywhere from 14-22.
Nice. I had a hot Teespring campaign on Facebook that I then started advertising on Twitter for the same demographic, did well but not nearly as well as it did on Facebook.
I dabbled with Twitter advertising a little, but I think it's interesting and would love to explore it more. It's really cool how you could target the followers of specific usernames. And since it's still early days, the ad review process and account hassles are nowhere near of a frustration as it is with Facebook. Still budding though, they only let you advertise on a handful of Tier-1 countries.
Also today they just enabled the ability to tweet animated GIFs: https://twitter.com/Support/status/479307198901026816
I'd recommend trying:
1. Video toolbars installs (mundo has some great ones)
2. Mobile antivirus offers (F5media has some of the best)
Both these offers are:
- Doing VERY well
- Will allow you to cover a lot of the major countries with 1 headline (you'll just need a GEO redirect)
Hi everyone,
Thanks for your help so far! I'm very interesting in trying out a Teespring campaign as I think that might be something that could work well. Myself and some of my colleagues have done pretty well on Twitter for marketing. If you have a couple strong accounts you can clear 1k a day. I will say most people aren't making their money through traditional affiliate marketing, but rather by simply pushing traffic to gallery sites that are optimized by Google Adsense. It's a very simple way of making money but it does work.
As I said above, I have ran some CPA campaigns in the past for things like fat burning pills and weight loss and have also cleared 1k+ in a day but these campaigns are getting very overused these days. I'm trying to look for some other ways that I can engage my audience that might yield even better results. It would definitely have to be something that is geared to teenage girls though.
Thanks again for everyones thoughts so far.
Whats one of your biggest issues aside from over-advertising a product... would it be that what you're advertising cannot be purchased by 50% of your twitter followers?
Yeah I just don't think there are too many current promotions that work right for the target audience that I promote to. Campaigns for things like dieting pills and such have been very successful in the past but too saturated now. If I could find some promotions that are geared directly at teenage girls I guarantee I could provide some companies some of the best targeted marketing they could get right now. Our followers are very loyal.
I have thought about reaching directly out to say someone like Seventeen Magazine for example to see if I could run any campaigns for them. I just haven't found too many affiliate campaigns that consistently work better than just pushing traffic to your own site with ads on it.
Try my ideas man..
You could offer a very viral sounding video
ex: "Justin bieber stabs his dentist!" and boom, make them install the media plugin offers first.
Sorry I just saw this Stackman. That literally made me laugh out loud haha and honestly it would probably work pretty damn well if I could pull something like that off. I'll look into running some of these video toolbar and mobile antivirus installs. Who know's maybe I'll even have to use your suggestion as the title
Thanks!
Hey all,
I've been monetizing Twitter for around a year and half successfully for $X. Stackman I'd love to hear your thoughts on monetizing traffic outside the health/diet/muscle vertical as well as bounce some of my ideas and strategies off you. I just PM'd you my Skype!
Ehy guys how is going your Twitter monetizing?
Hey everybody, just starting to get into Twitter ads. Using Hashtag ads to get through. Current targeting US with skin, but showing very low ctr to the offer and no leads. Is this vertical still viable here? And what kinda ad unit should I be approaching with?
Has anyone had any success in list building through Twitter ads?
