Who want to help me with my angles

Hey Guys,

After reading some post here and learning about the 7 sins from Finch (really appreciated this post!), I would like to aks if someone can hit me up on skype to evaluate my angles..

I just want to start a campaign, but before I start I want to understand the angle part.

Why not just post them here for feedback form a lot more people than one person on Skype?

If you are just starting out... the last thing you need to worry about is people ripping your angles.

You are right Zeno, but got some bad experience with sharing information. For now it is better to learn and just put it in this topic.

Allright so my main question is, is this the right 'type of thinking'

So as I told in the first post, I used a whiteboard with the 7 sins and I came upon these questions/angles (dunno if they are the same).

Hating your ex? Date with these girls
How dare she don't reply!
You want more girls then you can handle?!
Do you dream about dating more then 1 girl!?

Don't have time to date? These girls are easy!
No time to date? They come to you!
Want to start dating today!
Working hard and don't have time to date?
They clean all your shit!

You are very attractive; so are they
When your friends see you with these girls

They are all brainstormed after using the 7 sins.

What I also saw in the post from Finch that never use a ? or a ! in his ad titles. Because of his experience with ppc, I think its really smart now to find a title with thats not related to any questions.

Interesting to see what you think about the angles and the question above.

This sounds a little vague. Maybe you'll get your ad clicked, but you're also looking for a decent conversion rate.
Other headers worth a test for sure

Thanks the reply Dario!

For now I want to choose 1 for my first campaign to learn how to use POF, making landers, tracking everything.

I will choose the first one 'hating your ex? Date with these girls'.

As for targeting on POF; I see on this forum that many people just target on gender and age.
I looked at this post but I cant seem to find anything that is related to let see 'just broke up state' or something like that.

So as for the angle aspect, you are choosing an angle but targeting broad. Does that lower your CTR? Because with this angle of mine nobody who is hating his ex is gonna click on the add.

Thats my thought atleast, can someone help me out on that one.

PS Anglesaurus is a member, iamattila?

Anglesaurus is a new service iamattila has been developing.

Of course going broad lowers your CTR - because you are looking at the average of a broad audience. There may be more profitable/higher CTR pockets inside that audience that you can access with targeting. However, there will also be lower performance audiences as well. It's up to you to design tests and roll out campaigns to find these audiences.

As for your hating your ex angle... the best targeting option I can think of is low login count, which is more likely to hit users who have recently joined and are therefore more likely to have recently left a relationship. I am not sure if any other targeting parameters could help, I can't say I know them well.

Will the lower login count help your ad CTR and campaign performance? Only your test will tell.

The first reviews for this service seem good.

Your angle ideas look solid - test 'em and see!

My main piece of advice would be to target more niche whilst you're learning. Currently it looks like you're targeting an audience no more specific than "men" - it'll be easier to get started if you niche down to "men who like Latina women" or "men with pets", for example.
