I'm currently prepping for my first mobile follow along. I have a few questions. I want to get details right before I spend money.
1. Will "Macaw" be sufficient for creating landers?
2. If yes, are their any modifications I need to make after I publish the landers to the coding?
3. Is cloudflaire's free CDN fast enough?
4. Can I host my landers on my hostgator account then setup the name severs for the CDN?
1. Macaw is OK but has some issues, I'm not sure if they will be noticeable to you. I would use the trial at least before throwing any money down on it. There is also Muse, which you can get for 30 days on trial, and Webflow, which likely has a trial too.
2. You will likely need to insert tracking codes and/or change links on the page depending on your tracking system.
3. CloudFlare's CDN is OK but use it for landers, don't put it on the domain your tracking system is working with (can cause issues).
4. I'm not sure what you mean here... Do you mean CNAMEing a domain to a CDN URL? This doesn't really have anything to do with your hosting. In any case, I would get of HostGator shared hosting if you are on it. Run away. Get a decent VPS - either pay someone to set up one for you with DigitalOcean, Ramnode, Linode etc. or get something managed (e.g. from WiredTree, BeyondHosting) with cPanel.
