Hi guys,
one of the reasons why I joined this forum (and want to learn more about the traffic side of things) is, eventually, focussing more on launching own affiliate products.
I am sure there are a few members who did this before - so I am hoping for any kind of advice. Thanks in advance
So here's the situation - I have a solid product developed that aims at traders / stockbrokers / forex guys.
Nice sales page is done, a hired copywriter with solid trackrecord is ready to make changes wherever needed, there's a signup bait and we have an solid email funnel in place to get to the sale.
Currently priced at 200 bucks, could easily be a 500/1000 USD if we product and add some videos.
Possible upsell - personal coaching from product creator in the x.xxx / xx.xxx figures.
Product was never launched in public before.
However, also no traffic was ever driven to the salespage (I'll actually do a follow-along on my first attempts to do this).
No the goal, after getting some figures on how this converts, if the price is right, if there are improvements needed to the product is - to launch this on affiliate networks.
However, I've never done this before and expect it to be kind of a tricky process...
So maybe anyone who did this before could advise me on questions such as:
- What makes a product attractive for an affiliate network to "list" it (or whatever the correct term is)?
- What kind of %% to the network should I expect?
- What do networks expect , in general, in terms of content, marketing materials etc.?
- What kind of questions do affiliate networks ask when approaching them with a product?
- What is there that I should take care of?
Thanks a lot for any hints and I'll let you guys know in a follow-along about my experiences driving traffic to the "beta page"
Cheers,
Rob
