For a beginner starting out, what are the best networks to join with the highest acceptance rates?
I was rejected from Convert2Media after the phone conversation due to lack of experience and they said to reapply once I have more experience under my belt.
Are all the other affiliate networks similar in that that are looking for affiliates with prior experience to accept?
What type of offers are you looking to run?
starting out with dating, advertising on POF
Most networks will have a similar policy, but it's tough to get experience without being accepted.
Spend time learning on the forum and get educated, so that you can talk intelligently when applying.
Clickbank, CJ, Linkshare, etc. might be easier to get approved. Add me on Skype and I can help point you in the right direction - RingPartnerMike
Definitely apply to F5 - they have a strong connection to STM, so the fact that you're serious enough to invest in an STM account will help a lot.
I think lots are newbie friendly.
You should get an AM to work with but this doesn't mean you're going to get the top AM to hold your hand. Typically are going to get a newer AM to learn with and help you.

Neverblue
A4D
F5
W4
As Lorenzo said, it really depends on the verticals you want to run.
MUNDOMedia

hit up Ryan or Arjun!
they are very newbie friendly, i used them when i started out but now-a-days go direct to offer owners as I was capping out like a mofo at Mundo and that sucked.
I got rejected by Mundo today
They said they require you to be running an offer for at least 60 days.
I don't mean to hijack your thread cosmoen, but I am in a similar boat. I'm finding that networks want to see some type of experience before accepting you, but it's difficult to have experience running campaigns without being a part of a network. So far I've been rejected by Glispa, Neverblue, and Mundo all for the same reason. I have several applications pending (F5, Yeahmobi, adsimilis) but I fear the same outcome.
Fortunately I have been accepted at Peerfly and A4D. I am extremely happy with A4D so far and have been working with Martin. However, it seems they don't have too many Mobile offers that fit the criteria that I have from following the guides on this site. Peerfly on the other hand has been pretty crappy. My AM just sends me links to the offer page ordered in different ways. I can see why I've yet to see Peerfly recommended here. Also, I see in the beginner guides it's important to choose offers available on many networks, which becomes difficult when you aren't a member of them.
I hope this post doesn't come off as just complaining because it certainly is not. I don't blame these networks for rejecting me. I wouldn't hire someone without experience either. I just want to get started doing everything I can to put the odds in my favor for becoming successful.
Anything else I can do or networks to apply to or just general advice for cosmoen and I and others that find themselves in a similar situation starting out?
Thanks!
Update.
Rejected from MaxBounty and Convert2Media
Waiting for Neverblue, Adsimilis and F5Media. It's been 5 days already so I need backups. Applied for A4D and PeerFly today.
I'm starting with promoting dating offers via POF. Just need to join a suitable network to get my feet wet and start promoting offers.
Will keep you guys posted.
Up and running with A4D and Oasis Ads. Couldn't have done it without this Forum's support! Will start a separate progress thread in the future.
@gotepc - have you gotten in contact with the reps from the various networks you mention? Glispa in particular have a rep on STM, as I recall - http://stmforum.com/forum/showthread...kype-Directory
Yes, I contacted Dora who connected me with Cameron on Skype. He basically said they need someone with proven quality and campaigns. He was very nice and said to check back with him in a month and a half. I have been approved with F5 so I'm excited about getting started with them. Any others you know of that will accept new affiliates or am I better off getting some things going with F5 before branching out?
Get some things going first. Once you've run campaigns with one network you're in a much stronger position - you're no longer a wannabe, you're a working affiliate.
