Don't think most of the people going to the movie theater in HK Island drive though. Could just be an intense message for no reason lol

Its created for its ability to go viral, not the people in the movie.

For example, the airplane company that asked flyers what they wanted on Christmas and then gave them the present when they landed (while videoing it all). The mass public thinks wow what a nice company, when reality is, it was an insanely cost effective marketing ploy!

Speaking of going viral, who heard about the parfume and Rhianna ad? One deemed too sexually suggestive? They made it, and got so much press that everyone ended up googling and finding the ad, now that's marketing

I'm sure there are creative ways to SMS spam people within range. I'm not the most creative, but I'd go from town to town in a food truck, find the busiest spot and send a blast alerting people to my location and offering a special package:

1 FREE hot dog + 128oz soda if you just do:

1 credit card offer
1 payday loan
1 app download

We can help you choose the offer/app best suited for you.

But wait, today only, you get an extra hot dog absolutely free. I will then optimize the color of the truck, the hot dog brand that gives off the smell that makes people convert most, etc.

This could also be done where weed is legal, get a permit for a mobile dispensary, blast and wait for the hordes to come out. I bet no one will complain about spam. Upsell smoking paraphernalia by displaying it prominently and offering a discount at checkout.

Oh man, where are these thoughts coming from, affiliate marketing ruined me.

Haha, great shit, though I'm not sure such a device exists since presumably the messages need to trafficked through some carrier with identifiers for the recipient for the phone to accept. You could potentially do it with an app of some kind? The new wave of push!
