Hello guys,
Since the latest version - CPV Lab has a quite good geolocation function which is really handy and seems accurate in smaller geos as well. However I wonder if there is any chance to get that geolocation information out of it and display on the landing page?
Thanks for any tips.
Geolocation is generally done via PHP code on your pages and is reasonably straightforward.
Caurmen has put together a tutorial on how to install MaxMind libraries on your server and call out information in your pages: http://stmforum.com/forum/showthread...our-Own-Server
Yop, I have MaxMind on my server, but I was wondering if it would be possible to get the geolocation out of CPV Lab (I think they are using different source and therefore get different results)
Hmm, perhaps - if CPV Lab supports passing of Geo tokens... however it seems like a different means to the same end with no extra difficulty either way you do it.
You can use these tokens to pass the CPVLab GEO data to the landing page:
{!mm_continent!}
{!mm_country!}
{!mm_state!}
{!mm_city!}
Hey Guys, litle offtopic so i dont open an new topic, I bought CPVLab in 2013 January, and i want use the new CPVLab, i need pay for it again? How much ? Also i dont have mine download link since its expired.
Have you even read the cpvlab page? It clearly states it costs $147 Per Year for a renewal.
Nice interface features are coming soon to improve the day-in day-out hassle of working with campaigns.
I've been in contact with them so now and then, but their not that good in giving ETAs.
there was an option of 147$ i think on their site to update script on the latest version but i cant find it right now...
maybe you can open a ticket and ask them....
