Hi
I've just started looking on clickbank for offers and I've noticed that a few of the most popular ones force you to use their banners and explicitly state you cannot create your own?
Is this commonplace? It kind of goes against what I've been reading on the forum about testing alternative approaches to ads / landing pages and optimizing from there.
Also could someone explain the term 'sales funnel' please?
Thanks
Sneaky
It happens, in some verticals more than others.
Generally speaking you can make your own banners/landers but check their terms and if in doubt get in touch with them...
In the end they get virtually effortless profit from you sending leads so if you flick them an email saying you're a media buyer, it's in their interests to facilitate your driving of traffic.
The 'sales funnel' is quite literally how you funnel people into a sale. It's the path you take them through, the banner >> lander > offer and even the back end. It's just a general term that defines how you go from capturing a users attention to generating some valuable action from them.
If you see something like this on an offer you're interested in, always get in touch and see how flexible they are.
A lot of the time, that's just generic boilerplate, and if you can show you're not Scammy McScammerson, they'll cheerfully let you run your own creatives after approval.
