mobileconvrrt : Mobile Landing Pages

I was considering creating Mobile Landing Pages using MobileConvrrt.com. Basically it seems like you can create custom mobile landing pages without coding. They also host in on their servers. Anyone using this service or something similar? and what are your thoughts on this?

Never heard of these guys but I don't think it's a good idea to host on their servers.

Just use smth like Adobe Muse to create mobile landers and host on your own server.

Hm. I've never heard of them either, and an initial read through their sales page fails to impress. It's very light on the details, particularly in terms of what you can and can't create, what frameworks they're using on the backend, and how they handle responsive with respect to phone screen size.

Might be worth signing up for the free trial and seeing what you get, but I'd expect to be underwhelmed.

Also, as bbrock32 says, never ever let a landing page company host on their servers if you're doing AM. The hosting is almost never up to it.

Sorry! The market is crying out for a good mobile lander solution right now, but nothing out there is 100% suited for purpose at the moment. Adobe Muse is still the best option.

Try Twitter Bootstrap, it seems to be standard at the moment for Responsive frameworks.

we used to make mobile landers for tablets and smart phones for every skin and diet site we manage. Ne we just make the sites response and they adjust correctly to any device. we also use browserstack the cross browser test them.

it cost us about $500 to get a responsive lander done the right way.

You can code a static page, then head over to fiverr and get somebody to code it to bootstrap for $5

I love me some Bootstrap (used it on a major site quite recently). It's better suited for scaling between tablet, desktop and mobile than it is for dealing with small, finicky differences in different mobile devices, though - plus it adds overhead in terms of download time.

Still, using Bootstrap is a lot better than not considering responsive at all.
