Follow Along First Ever Mobile Campaign (The Appetiser) - Please be gentle

This is my first ever campaign of any kind and I wanted to get my feet wet as soon as possible. I want to learn from mistakes made so it can be digested easier. This may probably look shit to most (if not all) and it's true but I just want some kind of feedback so I'll be very transparent.

This was done about 12 hours ago:

Network: Peerfly
Traffic: Decisive
Offer: Armor Android (SG)
Payout: $0.70
Location -> Singapore (for all 4)
1) Device -> Mobile -> Android
Audience -> Site
2) Device -> Wifi -> Android
Audience -> Site
3) Device -> Mobile -> Android
Audience -> App
4) Device -> Wifi -> Android
Audience -> App

That's pretty much it. I don't really know for certain how else to tweak at the moment.

Results thus far:

No conversions. No matter. I would like to know what are my mistakes? I just realized I should be putting more banners per campaign. What else do I need to look out for?

I sincerely appreciate any form of feedback. Thanks in advance!

P.S. I logged into my Peerfly and found out I have 2 conversion:

Erm... So which is which...? Do I have conversion or not?

Thanks again!

You have conversions You just have a problem with your tracking somewhere. Double-check all your settings to see if there's anything that could be wrong.

Congratulations on the conversions! Check your Peerfly reports - you may be able to find the bidhashes which converted, in which case you should fire them on Decisive manually. Tell us if you can find 'em and if so I shall explain how to fire them so that they show up on Decisive.

Your CTRs for the ads look a little low, but you'll deal with that when you hit your first $15 spend on each campaign.

It all looks good so far - just make sure you find and fix your tracking issues for now!

Hi Caurmen,

Is it this one?

I was told to key in http://win.crwd.io/convert/{{{bidhash}}} but I got nothing. Just a blank page.

Edit: I looked back into Decisive and the conversions appear. So that's what it does. Do I have to do this everytime?

Yep those look like bidhashes.

So I presume you loaded e.g. http://win.crwd.io/convert/132894jhdwfjsdhf89032 in your browser?

You can pass these back automatically to Decisive. Find the pixel/postback settings part in Peerfly and add a postback in the form:

http://win.crwd.io/convert/%%SUBID2%%

Where %%SUBID2%% should be whatever token form Peerfly has - they should tell you, or your AM can, it varies between different network systems (e.g. #s2#, #subid2#, {aff_sub2}, etc.).

So here's an update:

I paused the other 2 coz they're not converting at all.

These 2 chalked up another 4 since I last posted.

How do I go on from here? Are these good enough figures to optimize? Or should I drop them altogether and try another offer instead?

Thanks!

No man this looks decent.

Take those 2 decent campaigns and put WAY more work and testing in. If you've got tracking variables down and targeting is spot on then it's time to test way more banners and landing pages. Make atleast 10 completely new banner concepts, read all the 'virus' threads in the forum, get some ideas and create a bunch of your own. Then tessssst!
