I have
I have setup
http://win.crwd.io/convert/{externalid}
and I followed this:
http://help.decisive.is/knowledgebas...uctions-voluum
my banner link is like this:
http://myvoluumtracker.com/somerandomstuff?media={{{media}}}&app={{{app}}}&si te={{{site}}}&placement={{{placement}}}&cat={{{cat }}}&device={{{device}}}&isp={{{isp}}}&os={{{os}}}& cid={{{cid}}}&adid={{{adid}}}&bidhash={{{bidhash}} }
and according to my affiliate network... this should be my postback URL:
http://win.crwd.io/convert/%SUBID2% I already put this in my affiliate network...
however... just a few hours ago... I got one conversion... (it showed in my affiliate network... but not in VOLUUM and DECISIVE)
(yeah finally 1 conversions after 150 clicks) 0.66% conversion rate... well at least now I know that the offer converts...
Can anybody tell me if I did something wrong with the postback URL?
Your postback URL in
Your banner link is fine.
However your postback URL at the affiliate network is incorrect.
You should set your offer to pass {clickid} as the second subid - this is
Then, at the aff network set your postback to: hxxp://myvoluumtracker.com/postback?cid=%SUBID2%&payout=%PAYOUT% - or whatever is appropriate!
When a user clicks your banner the bidhash gets passed. Voluum stores this. When a user gets redirected to your offer Voluum will append it's click ID to your affiliate URL, in this case as subid2. When a conversion happens, your affiliate network posts back to Voluum and gives it the Voluum Click ID. Voluum registers a conversion, then posts back the bidhash, stored as {externalid}, to Decisive via the postback URL set up in the traffic source section (and shown in your campaign settings).
In your current setup, the affiliate network is likely posting Voluum's click ID to Decisive, which results in neither platform getting the info they need.
Thanks a lot Zeno...
I have modified my postbackurl in my affiliate network to:
http://myvoluumtracker.com/postback?...ayout=%AMOUNT%
but about this:
Also... I think I checked the append clickid when I created the offer... because it says something like this:
Click ID will be appended to the URL.
but the offer url does not have {clickid} though
#2 is correct. Remember {{{bidhash}}} is a token from Decisive, not
As for the appending of Click ID, I presume that means you would end your offer URL with ...&s2=.
I'm not sure. I don't use this and I insert the {clickid} token manually in the offer URL in the offer settings. I'd rather be explicit with my instructions to a tracker.
