cant figure this one out... my landing page has recorded about 1300 views, however, LI has charged me for 1800. At first I figured that my hosting was too slow, and the tracking script wasnt able to load before the user had X-ed out the window, but after talking to my hosting provider (beyond hosting on a their prosper optmized hosting plan), they assured me that the server is not the reason the script isnt loading.
anyone else have this experience? Is this something that I can fix?
Lead Impact is notorious for impression discrepancies, I have yet to meet anyone who hasn't been over charged by them by at least 20%-30%.
Consider yourself lucky if you dont get charged for non existing impressions.
Welcome to Lead Impact - this discrepancy of theirs is wide spread, it makes tracking shit accurately really hard. I've pretty much quit running traffic with them because of it. I've emailed them about it and they said everything is working correctly on their end...who knows!
same for me 1824 views on lead impact and 1487 in p202
the click discrepancys are getting really ridiculous...fuck them if you can't get a positive roi because of that..and work with a company which is more legit! if more people would act like that they would maybe learn their lesson
Leadimpact is so LOVE/HATE, love their traffic hate their bullshit system
It happens to me all the time.
However I must say , the discrepancy between LI and my own rotator that doesn't use javascript to track is minimal.
Means they pop so often users have become trained to close pops so fast that the javascript doesn't load.
