$10,000+ Media Buy Networks

Hi guys I'm looking for performance-based media buy/display networks with lots of volume. Buysellads & yabuka are too small for what I'm looking for.

What display networks out there would you guys recommend?

**This is for desktop traffic and I've already tested CPX, GDN, EngageBDR, Sitescout, Bonadza, Tribal, & ValueClick among others.

Thanks and I look forward to hearing your feedback!

By performance-based, do you mean they'll let you only pay on a CPL/CPS? If so, there aren't too many actual *networks* out there, but doing a direct buy with large companies is sometimes a good bet. There are several companies that handle the direct-site buys for large-ish sites (mine is one of them) and some of them are willing to sell space on a performance basis.

I can point you to various different ones dependent upon what kind of demographic you're looking to target. For example, if you want to hit the middle-aged woman demographic, then you should talk to the BlogHer Publishing Network.

Hi Josh thanks I appreciate the reply.

By performance based they don't really need to be CPL, CPA, or CPS.

I'm used to paying CPM or CPC but my main concern is staying away from high-priced CPMs & CPCs and networks that focus on "brand-awareness".

I'd like to go with more of the lower-priced ad networks as I haven't had success with high-priced inventory.

Any others you would recommend that would fit this criteria?

Thanks again I appreciate your advice!

Yahoo, Microsoft, AOL and portal sites are still king for display buys. Great quality and tons of quantity.

Stackman thanks and yes I have tested GDN with great success. It's actually made up a good amount of my sales but I want to diversify to other sources as well.

I'm actually starting a test with Wiget this week. I've never tried torrent traffic but is the quality in terms of customer value usually lower for that type of traffic?
Thanks

I've tested on Yahoo (both regular display and stream ads) and AOL with mixed success. Yahoo has been great for me and a solid stream of traffic but I haven't figured AOL out yet and they are very strict with their banner & LP approvals.

By Microsoft are you referring to media.net?

Regarding portal sites could you provide my examples? I'm not familiar with this type of inventory.

Thanks again!
