I am trying to choose my first offer in Dating Niche and just started looking at offers, I am only going for CPA currently. But my problem is how do i decide which offer to choose. I know a few ways ask my AM which offer is hot, which converts better etc. But my concern is there are all types ranging from 0.25 to 45 dollars in the payout, I have no idea what is the right number.
I read a post which said to go with lower payout offer if the daily budget is low and I am also in that category but I still don't get if $2 offer is better than $8 offer ? Is there any reason why some dating sites are willing to pay as high as $45 for just a signup, is it because it is not converting well and it desperately wants affiliates to promote or is it that it is very hot and therefore trying to recruit more?
Kindly help as I do not want to be stuck by choosing a wrong offer in my first campaign only.
Hey bud!
0.25 is quite low, Im guessing India or something? Sticking between $3-5 will get you somewhere, just ask for the top offers by revenue because thats what is making money for the bigger affiliates. In the end of the day, you should pick 1 country, 1 source then ask for 2-3 of the best offers for that country and SPLIT TEST them, buy that data and make sure you adopt that mindset early of test test test.

Thanks maynzie also I wanted to ask people say if you choose higher payout offer then you need more money to test because statistical significance is achieved later. But i feel if both offers are same type CPA in this case and one offers. $45 and other $4 I don't see any difference in efforts if I can crack $4 I can also do for $45. Could you pls give some example from your past experience where you found difficult to crack high payout CPA offer?
Exactly so.
Advertisers aren't (usually) stupid - they won't pay out $45 for an offer where they could still have affiliates running it for $4. If the payout's very high, there's almost certainly a reason for that.
