FB page about girls in bikinis/swimsuits and promotion

Hello all,

I started a small test, just to see how things work with FB and page promotion. I made a page where I post photos of gilrs in bikinis/swimsuits, started the page promotion, it was approved, likes started to come in, then after 3-4 days they disabled the ad and gave me this reason :

Your ad wasn't approved because it violates Facebook's Ad Guidelines by advertising adult products or services, including toys, videos, or sexual enhancement products. Learn More in the Help Center. If you believe that your ad follows our policy or you need help, get in touch.

Now, this is obviously a copy&paste BS, I do not promote any products or services ... all there is on the page are the photos itself. They have some contact form available, but it doesnt work now from some reason.

So just a simple question to those who are experienced with FB, is this how it works with FB, I mean dont they allow the promotion of such pages at all and I was just lucky to have it running for a few days? Or was it some upset old bitch who was jealous of the pretty girls I post there and disabled the ad?

Thanks

My prediction is that this page is going to be a constant headache for you.

This is just a test, I will let it be without any problem. I wanted to test whether they let me promote it at all and what is the engagement gonna look like. Im just surprised they approved the promotion and then canceled it a few days later, so I want to find out whether its a common thing to expect in a niche like this or not.

Yes, pretty much. There was a time not long ago when tons of these type pages were used to redirect to adult dating.

You mean that owners of those pages posted posts with links to adult dating? Or are you talking about regular side-column ads that were then cloacked and sent to adult dating?

Both. If RHS was used, people would send reviewers to a page a like this. This is the main reason why it raises so many flags with FB. Be careful with your account, you can call yourself lucky that they just disapproved your ad and didn't ban you right away.
