Tracking codes for inMobi

Hey!

I've had a look around and searched for ages but I can't for the life of me find this info.

I can't find the postback URL to use with Cake, or what to use in the s2 field to track banner IDs (or really any of the other field options for subid tracking).

Thanks for the help!

Oh yes apparently so - not sure why, I would have thought InMobi just had a generic global postback.

I'm not sure how to do tracking with InMobi, it seems like they have quite a lot of options:

^^ Thanks zeno!

Honestly, my first foray with inMobi has been complete shit. They just disapproved all my ads for not adhering to their "content guidelines" which is basically all the standard "don't promote violence, rape, etc", and my ads definitely don't fall into those categories. Plus I emailed their support about being able to use the pubid as said in the thread zeno posted above, and the person who replied said they had no idea what I was talking about and to please re-explain.

Not the best start with them, I'm trying to decide if it's worth continuing on or if I should see if they'll give me a refund and work with a different network.

Yikes, certainly not helpful when a rep doesn't immediately know what you want when you talk about pubids...

My experience with them is that they are a lot of hassle to work with, but they have decent volume if you can get your campaign running. I've had banners disapproved for being "too flashy" when they were plain text on a white background, and not being able to block pubids manually is ridiculous.

Keep working with your rep though and eventually you'll get something approved. I asked them specifically to enable the __si__cb parameter and they eventually did, after some persuasion. It might just be that your rep calls it something different, or it may be that they don't want to enable it for you until you prove you're sending decent volume so are just playing dumb.

Thanks, I'm really new to mobile so I don't need that sort of shit right off the bat. Donte got my decisive account approved and within hours I had campaigns up and running and tracking there, so I think I'll stick with them for a while. I might come back to inmobi in the future.
