Hi, I am just wondering if it's wise to stay away from offers provided with cookie-cut banners (this one had like 26 ready-to-go in the package). My AM recommended one offer like this to me, and of course I asked him if I could create my own banners to make myself stand out. He said it would be fine though they need to be approved first. Fair enough. So I spent whole day yesterday pumping out 12 banners. Most of them also included the offer APP icon.
Unfortunately, they just came back and said none of those would be approved as they are not explicit enough about what they are downloading.
Is this quite normal in the industry? Thanks.
It's up to the advertiser. Some don't care much. In this case they do, so just change your ads to comply.
Google's march 30th policy update sent a ripple effect in the industry and on all ad networks, and they don't approve banners that just say CLICK HERE and other generic ones anymore. Now you really gotta be specific.... all for better ''user experience''
