What The Eff Does This Mean?

I keep trying to launch campaigns but always run into another setback or learning lesson.

I finally get something going and then I log in today and see this. The AM takes a while to respond but I need to know if this is normal.

I suck at networking because I think no one wants to mess with a noob. You cant even join a mastermind with little to no experience.

So I just keep learn via hard knocks. I know that if I post then someone will help. Thanks STM

You need to change the subid...

this is f5media correct?

I believe they do not allow excessive usage of subid1...

make s1 into s2

and you will have no problem...

This happened to me as well..

looks like you got your offer url setup incorrectly..... make sure the clickid is #s2# not #s1#

King David - Don't feel discouraged! Everyone needs to start somewhere! As long as you're serious about making this affiliate marketing thing work, and are willing to put in the effort, most affiliate managers will feel that from your vibes. All of my affiliate managers have been more than helpful, but I also understand that some of them are extremely busy so if I ask them something and they don't respond right away, I'll just ask them again in a few hours. So if you want something from somebody just keep asking until you get it. Also, hitting them up on skype is much faster/easier than by email.

As for setbacks - I'm in the same boat. You just need to keep the faith and trust the stats. The more things you find that don't work, the closer you are to finding something that does. I read stuff like the page below to keep my spirits up:

Hang in there!

Amy (another noob - just started my first campaign 2 weeks ago)

Simple fix as others have said. You will need to talk to your AM about resolving this notice.

For future reference, due to the way most networks display stats, avoid passing unique click IDs in the first subid slot.

lol same issue. I was told it would eventually disappear after 50 leads.

definitely did not disappear after 50 leads. now i'm just used to it

change ur subid, it's got nothing to do with lead volume

Exactly it just means you are using the wrong subid variable we are on cake also and encounter this from pubs it can sometimes effect your tracking also if its not fixed

This was a change Cake made some time ago.

S1 is not used anymore to pass subids, it's used to pass pretty static info like traffic source name / banner etc.

For unique values like the subid the S2 param should be used.

Thank you all. It's been a roller coaster of a journey so far. I know I have to keep pushing and that's the plan. Too bad sometimes life gets in the way of those plans. My AM informed me that it would go away on its own. I just wanted to make sure I didn't jeopardize my account.

I will post a follow along as soon as I learn the basics of landing pages, angles, tracking (a huge one I need to master), and picking offers. Maybe then I can get to the noobie level

We're in the same boat with having very little experience and getting hit hard in every step. But I think we'll be getting there soon enough
