Setting up Voluum on a couple of different traffic sources, with landers in between if possible. Haven't found any decent Voluum tutorials on the net

Always very welcome! The more info that's on STM, the better off we all are!

@iamattilla - what would you say are your particular strengths? I'd be interested in seeing guides that show everyone else how to do some of the things you can do that other people can't!

the Voluum guides on various traffic sources sounds good so far, i need these anyway for my employees who enter campaigns for me anyhow ..

so what traffic sources do you guys want guides for?

cmdeal: no competition, just love being part of this kick ass place called STM and i am a man who believes in giving back!

well with the power of Voluum u can do a global buy easier than ever before now

u just really really gotta prep it well... but the benefits are huge.. this is something for the STM greats rather than me tho, im a newbie (born august 2013) relatively like many of you guys

05-27-2014 07:38 PM #13 nitika (Member)

so what traffic sources do you guys want guides for?

for affiilate networks most use either hasoffers or cake

so if you learn those two, then you know most of them out there.. except say mundomedia which has their own in house aff backend.. anyhow thanks for the feedback

actually one thing I havnt seen here (although I could be wrong) is a guide on making banners.

some do's and dont's, fonts to use and avoid, colors to use, that type of stuff.

05-27-2014 09:32 PM #16 no1d ()

also a guide about how to get on biggest traffic sources on earth...

Well there are some explenations on STM on how to setup Voluum with decisive for example. But its always scattered througout a thread and never from start to finish in one post. Also most of the time there isnt an explanation included on how to setup the landers and how to rotate them correclty.

So I would suggest a guide explaining the following "flow/path" step by step if possible:

Traffic source-> voluum -> Banner-> voluum -> landing page -> voluum -> aff network/advertiser-> pixel/postbackurl

And for traffic sources: decisive, inmobi and traffic junkie to start off with.

Aff networks: 1 cake network (f5?) and 1 non-cake network (mundomedia?)

If you can manage this then that would be epic, and it will remove a hurdle for alot of starting members i pressume!

This is probably something which should involve input from Voluum as a comprehensive guide would sit well in their support section for users and on the forum.

IMO a schematic showing the click flow and structuring would be wise.

OK guys, we're working on a guide on how to pick an offer at a CPA Network that runs on hasoffers (yeahmobi, smash revenue, appflood, kingmb, etc) and how to dump the campaign link code, add the subID token, and then create a campaign using Voluum for it, and then set the Voluum postback URL on CPA Network.

This tutorial will be available in written form, and my assistant will also make a video guide for it. It will be the first of many we're doing part of an A to Z training system which will be shared here on STM. We're starting at the roots, so most of you won't find this anything extra ordinary, but I am doing all this not for money, in fact I get paid 0$ for it and it only costs me money to have my workers make it. The purpose is to give back.
