Ive got an offer that basically tells people to pay $1 to get a "free" android tablet / ipod / waterspeaker.
The sign up page is really simple, just a few fields, its a service where people can play games and win the abovementioned items.
Its a $1 CC Submit with a $35 payout, the user is charged $99 after 3 days, but that is really well hidden, im small writing.
Its a interesting offer and id like to run it, but not sure what angle i should take for the banners / LP
Any help is appreciated.
Take all banners, and test them all (run 15,000 impressions to every different angle at least)
Well, I wouldn't get suckered in because it has such a high payout and tries its best to hide the incoming charge from users.
You'd be surprised at how much resistance users may put up to whipping out their CC, whether it's a $1 purchase or not.
In any case, no one can tell you a winning angle here... if someone has a working angle they certainly won't want to share it!
It's up to you to test based on creativity and how you can exploit your traffic source targeting to bolster your angle.
Get them playing a game where they win a prize but then reveal it's not real... but it could be >> with this offer. Market it to gamblers. I don't know, just write down every idea you can think of no matter how bizarre.
Is this the buylucky (or something) offer? I saw it pop on a firefox survey type popup.
i'm also having trouble creating or thinking of various angles.
^^ our new service is going to come in handy for you then
