Hi guys,
I joined STM August 2013 I believe, with little to no knowledge of paid advertising. Had some success with SEO before, but nothing groundbreaking.
Since then I had successful campaigns, I had terrible campaigns. Overall I was making money, but nothing that I could rely on to sustain me.
I got an email from Andre Chaperon (he's known for his ninja email marketing skills) in late 2013 talking about how he knew several big time IMers who were looking to recruit people to help them run their business.
Long story short, I'm now working for a company that's doing mid $x,xxx, xxx monthly with about 6 employees, lol. I've learned more in the last few months about IM than I could have in a year.
The recruiter is now looking again for more candidates, I don't know what the positions are but they usually need media buyers, interns, web developers, tech guys plus a lot more. They are okay with little experience as long as you're sharp. I believe this is US only
Most people who are hiring are "behind the scenes" guys who making disgusting, obscene money with paid traffic.
If this sounds like your cup of vodka, send an email here:

The recruiter's name is Amanda, she is really sweet.
Here is the bad stuff:
-this is a REAL job... as in resume, interview, show up at 9am everyday if hired.
-you might have to relocate. I worked for a few weeks from home then moved. I don't know where all the openings are.
-you might have to sign a non-compete. This basically means you can't just rip off their model for 2 years after you leave the company. I found it's very fair and non-restrictive. You can still run ads, just not within the same category.
The good stuff:
-MUCH higher pay potential than the average job. Six figures in a few years is not a stretch (assuming you're kicking ass)
-Learn from dudes that spend $100K a day on ads.
-Super chill environment (as long as you get shit done)
For me it was the best decision I made, I hope there are a few people here on the forums who can benefit from this as well.
PS I don't have any specifics on these openings, just ask Amanda.
Moved this to buy/sell as it's an offer of a specific opportunity. However, sounds like it could be very interesting for some folk!
