Cookies expiration on affiliate links, how long do they usually last?

Suppose I have an offer and I push a ton of traffic to it. Some visitors seem interested, but don't purchase the offer right away and they sign up a week later, this still counts as a conversion right?

How long is the cookie expiration usually set on a network's affiliate links?

I asked an AM on one network and he said that it's usually 1 week and another AM on another network and he said 30 days. Does each network or offer vary for cookie expirations? Should I always be checking with my AM?

Thanks

Depends on the advertiser. Most of the ones I work with are 30 days.

There is a particular app install I was running that 16 days after I stopped traffic, I still get 15-20 conversions a day.
