Software similar to Adobe Muse? (7)
Hi guys,
A month back or so someone shared a really neat tool that that was similar to Adobe Muse - but it was web hosted.
It was kind of weird name. All I remember that it looked really easy to create mobile friendly landing pages, and that it was a big parrot on the tutorial vids 
I would appreciate if someone could refresh my mind.

Macaw is so-so - it definitely isn't in an optimal state yet.
Adobe Edge Reflow is similarly in a beta-like state.
I haven't used Webflow but it looks excellent.
I would agree with Zeno. Macaw is going to be great when it's finished - but it's not finished yet.
Currently it has some major problems.
Glad I saw this. Was wondering how it really is. Webflow looks like SaaS Zeno? They all look well though.

I've spent the last couple of days testing all the responsive options out there, and sadly, currently they're all pretty terrible.
Webflow only allows fixed breakpoints, which makes it pretty useless for our purposes: it has a single one-size-fits-all mobile option, which means that it's scarcely more useful than Muse for making mobile landers.
Edge Reflow is the most promising of the bunch, but currently doesn't have an easy way to export HTML. You can hack around that by using its preview HTML, but it's pretty lousy code - bloated and hard to edit.
And Macaw, as previously mentioned, just doesn't really work at present. It's full of bugs and missing features.
I'm really looking forward to a solid responsive editor turning up, and all three options might well be very usable in six months, but right now, edit-it-in-a-text-editor is still the best way to do responsive design.
Zeno and I have been chatting about this on Skype lately, and he has been singing the praises of Adobe Edge Animate - not strictly responsive, but capable of doing some very cool stuff. I'm going to check it out next week and will report back.
Please do report back, I been trying to make my own landers for some time now and I SUCK at coding, i'm testing Muse still going through the learning curves...we'll see...
