Classmates US offer? Should I run it?
Well, I ma kind of starting with promoting CPA offers in facebook.
I was thinking of focusing on this offer : classmates US .
Should i run it? Does it have good potential or it's already been advertised to death.
And any other offers besides gaming, which is good to run at this time.

Whats the lander URL? MyWoT rating? Payout? Has it had any volume on the network that has it?
Do you have an angle in mind?
Whether the offer has been advertised a lot or not is not that important, it's if you can convert people on it today.
One advantage of the kind of offer is that it may have appeal to an older demographic.
I say dream up an angle and test it, because that's how you find diamonds in the rough.

What's the payout on that offer, and what's your budget?

Does it allow social traffic?
I tested it out, but only decent payout I could find was for display, and no social allowed.. (was $3.80 I think)..
It converted, I just couldn't make the targets profitable.. best I got was about -30% overall with some tweaking..

I have thought some angles to test. I just wanted to know, if it's an old offer that has been advertised to death by many advertisers.
It was recommended by an AM, as an offer which will work out for someone who has just started with facebook.

The payout is 3$/lead , and my budget I'll say is 50$ to see if this has offer got some potential or not.

You really should not spend too much time worrying about this. There are much better things to worry about.
Coca Cola has been advertising since the 1890's.
Needless to say, Coke ads are not disappearing any time soon.
There are
always fresh ways to approach the same product, and
always new ways to reach out to new demographic segments, and
always better ways to call out consumers and personalise an offering ...
even for a 130 year old product like Coke.

Yup! ^
An angle that didn't work for me on this one was some pics of hot 70's and 80's girls from old year books and text along the lines of "see your first crush now".. type adverts on middle aged mens sites.
I thought that would be ace.. how wrong I was lol..

Thanks guys, I'll just run it, and get an idea myself. That's the best approach. I may do a follow along just to get help whenever i get stuck or confused.

Yes, definitely.
There are a lot of smart folks on the forum, and they can give you good advice ... but all this will only be theoretical unless you take action. A follow along is a great idea, and I am sure you will get a lot of helpful feedback in the process.
