Traffic sources for a daily deals website

Hello all,

I've been looking for a paid/free traffic sources for local daily deals website, here are some what I found till date:

  1. Facebook
  2. Email marketing
  3. Parked domains traffic (ZP)
  4. Small media buys
  5. Google Adwords and local PPC platforms
  6. SEO

Would you suggest any other traffic sources that I missed?

Thanks!

You've got enough there to do some serious damage.

Could could also try PPV - Leadimpact, Trafficvance.

Thanks Mr. Green!

Both of them need $1k to start... will try to find cheaper alternatives.

ZP also has PPV now.

Is this for a unique daily deals website or something like Groupon, LivingSocial, Amazon Local, etc.?

Cheap traffic is great, but for these kinds of offers you can gain a lot from targeting that cheaper sources may not offer.

Yes but this website also has some products like household electronics etc... so the margins are higher.

Ahh, gotcha, so it has broad appeal that's not tied down to cities/states etc.?

Household products... pop over keyword 'toaster' >> $$$

Yes... its a small country with 50%+ population in one city (1.3 mil), we target this city only.
