Hi guys, my name is Alex, I'm a 30-year old SEO guy that wants to jump into affiliate marketing/ppc boat as well.
I have started testing the waters with Facebook ads for a few days (direct linking) and 7search (because they are quite cheap and can afford spending 10-20$/day testing), however I want to go the LP route. My question is quite stupid I am sure.
If I want to promote say 5 offers from 5 different niches, HOW do I create the landing pages? Do I buy 5 different domains and set them up each on its own domain? I have dozens of LP templates that I want to work with but really have no idea what the next step is....
Thanks!
Hi Alex, it's not a stupid question at all.
For the sake of your testing/learning don't worry too much about it. You can just use a generic domain as a starting point and use a different directory for each niche.
eg. genericdomain.com/dating/lp1.html. You can always replace the domain when you zero in on a niche you want to target.
At this point the extra $$ is better spent on your education.
Personally, I just use 1 domain per vertical. One domain for my adult dating LPs and one for mainstream dating LPs for example.
There's no such thing as a stupid question!
Pawly's answer is great. Just use a single domain, then put landing pages in different subdirectories. domain.com/lander1/, domain.com/lander14/, domain.com/thisonehascats/, etc.
Thanks guys!
It appears I started with the right foot (for one offer) and the left foot (for another offer). I hope if I write in this thread it's alright?
So, as I was saying, I am doing a bit of ppc with 7search - now testing 3 offers, direct linking. Here are the stats after ~3 days - I know it's not a lot but the niches are quite small.

First offer - revenue $4.00 so i am $7 down.
Second offer - revenue $4.50 so $2.69 up (I am actually excited about this one!
Third offer - 0 revenue
I know this is not too much for testing/conclusions, BUT...should I try increasing the CPC for the 2nd offer? Also, should I try it with Bing Ads as well?
Any thoughts would be of help!
Best thing to do would be to start a separate Follow-Along for this campaign and we can give you advice there!
I like to use domains something like com-pageindex.info
then with subdomains you can create what looks like nice domains to the eye of a normal webuser
weightloss.com-pageindex.info
games.com-pageindex.info
dating.com-pageindex.info
adultdating.com-pageindex.info
freewebcams.com-pageindex.info
sure you get the idea
