Hi everyone,
I'm new here and would love any advice
I am helping a friend open a temporary Bridal Clearance Store in a local Sydney Shopping Centre. It opens next week.
I want to build awarenesses and get as many customers in the door as possible.
I'm also new to FB ads, and wanted to start building likes for the Shop's page.
This is the Ad: http://screencast.com/t/UVwWZd1jgv8G
And these are the people I'm targeting:
Potential Audience for this ad: 7,000 people
Location:
- Australia: Blacktown, Castle Hill, Katoomba , Liverpool, Merrylands, Parramatta, Penrith, Richmond, Rooty Hill, Cabramatta
Age: 18 - 55
Gender: female
Interests: Dresses, Evening gown, Wedding photography, Wedding dress or Weddings
Relationship Status: Engaged
Life Event: Newly engaged (6 months) or Newly engaged (3 months)
Not connected to: Sydney Bridal Outlet - Up to 50% Off
on News Feed on desktop computers and mobile devices
Suggested Bid: $3.04 - 7.00 AUD
I'm currently bidding $14 CPM, and still only had a few likes, not many impressions so far.
I'm looking for ideas on how to target women who would be interested in wedding dresses, any ideas/help/opinions would be a great help!!
Thanks
50% off is not something woman are looking for on their wedding dress I would think. It's their "most beautiful" day of their life so I would focus on looking great, brands or celebrities that just got married.
Also your targeting audience is way too small. If you are just starting you want to collect lots of data so I would remove the interests and see if you can add more locations, add woman in a relationship etc.
Yeah, there's no need to have those interests there when you're already targeting women who are engaged. You're needlessly cutting out a large chunk of that demo when you don't need to.
Use Ocpm for news feed if you aren't already instead of CPM.
I'd split test a couple images - make the other ones less text and more wedding dress shots.
FB is also random - sometimes even if you everything right things do poorly, it's best to try several versions.
