Question about adsense

I have a blog which i would like to put adsense on,

Problem is when over 3 years ago i signed up for adsense without knowing anything about this industry just to check it out, and got shut down after 2 days for clicking my own ad a few times (stupid i know)

Now that i'm trying to do this seriously, i am wondering if i should try to appeal this with google, and if there is any specific way to do that which will increase my chances of getting reactivated.

Also would like to hear recommendations to other services similar to adsense which i can use to place adds on my blog.

Thanks!

With the time spent appealing google, you could ....

Incorporate and get a new adsense under your corporation. Link nothing with the old adsense account.

For quick approval put up a wordpress blog with 10 - 500 word articles.

Thanks, but wouldn't they link it to my personal account?

From my experience, appealing an Adsense shutdown doesn't take terribly long - it's definitely worth a go.

Unless a new service has launched recently (anyone?) I don't think there's another automated ad service that would provide you the same returns as Adsense. However, depending on your traffic and your niche, you may be able to make more money than adsense by advertising affiliate products.

What's the website? Can you give us a bit more detail?

Thanks for your reply,

Right now there's not much traffic on it, it's basically a viral nova clone, i have an FB page with 2K likes which i am building up and plan to drive traffic to website

Hmm, tricky - quite a general audience.

If you wanted to go the affiliate route, I'd start by testing a number of verticals - games, app installs, dating - and see if any of those showed more promise than the others.

So I appealed and got denied. Very annoying.

Does anyone know of a network similar to AdBlade for content ads, that has no requirement of minus visitors?

Thanks! so far they seem very helpful, however a bit confusing since some offers pay per click and some pay only when an offer is completed

Split test different things. Pay per click is instant money for you but might not work out well for the advertiser, and on the other hand it might under-monetise your traffic.
