Where can i hire virtual assistants?
I am in process of scaling so please forgive me for asking:
1. Where to get cheap VAs ?
2. How to prevent them from stealing my butter?
3. How to pay them?
4. Do you hire hourly or fulltime?
5. Which one is cost efficient?
6. Should i hire female or male or third sex ?

You can hire on odesk. Or look for local classifieds in ph or eastern eu countries.

Dude...there are huge STM guides that cover this topic inside and out.
Watch bbrocks video http://stmforum.com/forum/showthread...ht=outsourcing
Read this thread http://stmforum.com/forum/showthread...ht=outsourcing
Read this thread http://stmforum.com/forum/showthread...ight=outsource
Read this thread http://stmforum.com/forum/showthread...-empire!-Part1
The best tool on STM is the search bar, you will be surprised the gems you find!

You can find VAs in the Philippines for as low as $300/month if you hire them directly. Experienced VAs though could go for higher as they would have more skills.

You're going to have to be more specific. But off the top of my head, you could have them sign an NDA, use a remote server so that their work stays in your computer, or you could use password software like Lastpass to allow them access to your accounts but still protect your passwords.

I used to pay them through Xoom, bank transfer and PayPal but now I pay them through Payments.ph, it's convenient and offers my workers a favorable exchange rate.

It depends on what I need done. I hire most of my VAs full-time because I have a lot of tasks and projects that need to be done on a regular basis. The rest I hire on a per project or per hour basis.

Again, it depends on what you need. But for the most part, I found hiring full-time VAs cost effective.

Doesn't matter.

Listen to this. I'm willing to put money he has more experience about VAs then anyone on STM (he's the owner of a couple of big VA properties, including onlinejobs.ph).

Hey, I am a media buyer just like you, I also own pimplabor.com (adult outsourcing company), and bannerslanders.com ... we also provide VAs on a fixed per month basis. Some guys here already work with me. I only work with hand picked clients, and most come to me through one of the two above channels, and ask if we can do x,y,z and I always try and solve your problem - so you can work smart.
Here are the answers to your questions:
1. Where to get cheap VAs ?
From us. Not as cheap as phillipines, but reliable, and since you work with a company - that has many talented people - if your VA cant' do something he has the resources to ask right here in house.
2. How to prevent them from stealing my butter?
I had this exact same dilemma, until cmdeal on this forum helped me get over it by reading The e-myth book, which opened my eyes
I have 7 people on my own media buying team, they do everything for me except the VISION part. Everything, Including optimizing campaigns (Those guys get a % as well on top of base salary).
It is a fact that most people live for the joy of doing, in the now, they don't have the vision that is required to make it in IM. Sure, they can steal a working campaign, but if that campaign goes down (like cleanmaster) then what? Without vision, they are lost -- so a job, and doing someone elses work is a safe bet for them - so they can go home at the end of the day, and relax and do the fun things.
3. How to pay them?
We accept Paypal, Paxum, Payoneer accepted
4. Do you hire hourly or fulltime?
4 hour per day, or full time 8 hours per day is available.
5. Which one is cost efficient?
It depends on your needs, how busy will you keep them. If you don't have work for them, you are just spending cash for no reason.
6. Should i hire female or male or third sex ?
Depends on your objectives.

I used chris ducker's service http://www.virtualstafffinder.com/ and I can highly recommend it. they basically find 3 VA's that fit your criteria and let you interview them and pick a winner. and im pretty sure if you dont like the first 3, they will give you 3 more options (at least they did back when I used them). anyway, it was 250 well spent. and there is no middleman after you find your VA.

I learnt most of what I know about outsourcing from John too, and am a happy member of onlinejobs.ph, using staff I found from there!

This VA's in the Philippines do "technical" stuff such as:
- set up webinars
- landing pages
- set up auto responders
- ....
They don't create the content, you still have to do it ...

Easyoutsource.com has worked very well for me in the past.
For more info have a look at my speech in BKK and the slides.

Surprised no one mentioned virtualstafffinder.com had some good experience with them. They are more of a head hunter then anything in the Philippines (most workers are just ideal for repeatable process based tasks) for something like $400 they interview candidates in person for the position you want and narrow it down to 3 finalists to send you where you then interview them and make a hire if one or more is a good fit. If you don't like the 3 they send you then you can request 3 more free of charge until you find what your looking for. Wages range anywhere from $500-$1500 for a full time worker a month depending on the required skill sets (writing, seo, dev work, ect) Using a service like this is ideal if you already have an ops manager (which should be paid a lot more and act as more of a right hand man to you) that ops manager can then create processes for them.
