Hey doods,
Can somebody show me a Bing compliant lander?
I don't want you to out your campaigns or niches or anything like that. I'm just having some compliance issues right now and Bing are being unhelpful as to exactly what they want from my landing pages.
So far the advice I've gotten from them is ridiculous - "Calls to action that are less strong" - mine simply say either "click here" or "Click here to view". They've also told me there's too much
scrolling on my landers. Which is funny actually, as there's none at all, they're all above the fold.
The guy I spoke to also said they like to see the name of the product displayed on the landing pages first of all, as well as the price, so whoever has clicked the ad can make an informed decision on whether to stay on the page. I'm basically ignoring that, as I know there's no way on earth so many people would be using Bing if everybody had that on their landers. Profitability would be a tiny percentage of whatever it currently is.
That guy was quite clearly clueless, so if anyone can share a lander that works on Bing either here or by PM I would VERY much appreciate it. Obviously I'd expect you to block out the details so I can't see anything, I just want an idea of what's been accepted for somebody else so I can model that and go back to Bing.
Was just starting to see some juicy profits, so I'm eager to get approved again, as Bing have everything on hold until I make some changes.
Thank you!
Honestly when I have reached this point with bing/adwords I just open a new account.
If I was in your position, I'd either show a ridiculously compliant lander and switch back after resuming traffic, or make a new account like Walter Mitty said...
Thanks for your insights guys.
If I wasn't so early on in this journey I would definitely open another
account, but I've probably made less than $1000 in profit so far. Not
sure if it's worth the hassle for something I'm just getting started with.
Also, I have literally NO idea how to even begin going about getting
a new account. New email, IP, CC and computer?
What does a ridiculously compliant lander look like, out of interest?
Tons of content and nothing being promoted?
you can open a new sub-account, i think that's what they mean...you can have 5 active accounts at any one time with Bing. Just go into Accounts & Billing and then create account and start over.
